About Me

Identity security and cybersecurity practitioner focused on securing digital identities, threat hunting, governance, cloud security, and operational risk reduction.

I am a cybersecurity professional with 10 years of IT experience, currently serving as Cybersecurity Analyst at Osseo Area Schools, leading security initiatives across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments including endpoint protection, identity management, threat detection, and incident response.

My work focuses on vulnerability management, detection engineering, security governance, and compliance across HIPAA, FERPA, and NIST frameworks. I operate Microsoft Defender XDR, Red Canary MDR, Entra ID, and Google IAM daily while building governance frameworks and risk programs in close collaboration with IT teams and leadership.

I hold industry certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Project+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), and ITIL 4 Foundation. I earned a B.S. in Cloud Computing from WGU in July 2026 and am currently pursuing an M.S. in Cybersecurity, with the CCSP and CISSP also in progress. Continuous learning and professional growth remain central to my career.
